Elizabeth was Christened on 13 Feb 2005 at St Barnabas Church in Temple Cloud. We had a meal before at the Carpenters Arms in Stanton Wick. A very good day. Pictures here.
Some photos of the building work being done on our house. - We're having a double storey extension built on the side of our house. Work started November 2004, we hope that it will be finished March 2005. The work involves moving bathrooms around in the existing house so will get quite disruptive...
So far the foundations have been dug, dug deeper (for the building inspector) and the first batch of concrete poured in. There's more concreting and site clearing to do
before the ground floor slab is completed, but work is progressing well.
Work has now progressed to the point that the inner blockwork for the first floor is complete. As of 21 December the builders have stopped for Christmas. More photos when I next have the chance to get out in the daylight! - There are some photos in the snow pictures - Here
The builders only had a short Christmas break and have been hard at work getting the brickwork done. We are now past the ground floor and progressing rapidly towards the roof.
January and February has seen good progress with the exterior largely complete. As of 22 Feb, rendering is done (but needs painting), Velux windows are starting to go in, and the interior upstairs is starting to take shape. Latest pics are now online.
